Ace Attorney Investigations 2 is now playable all the way through in English
Fan patch
If you happen to have a legally acquired digital version of Ace Attorney Investigations 2, then here's some good news. An unofficial patch that translates the game into English has just been released.
The game hit the DS in Japan back in 2011, but there are no plans to release it anywhere else in the world. So unless you're fluent in Japanese, you're not gonna have much of a clue what's going on.
Unless of course you grab the fan-made patch from over at GBAtemp. The patch doesn't just translate all the writing in the game, it adds English voice acting as well.
There are a few problems with the beta patch, but this is probably as close as you're ever going to get to playing an English version of the only game Ace Attorney game that hasn't been released in the west.
Obviously we can't and don't condone you doing anything illegal to acquire it though. Naughty.
