This week on the 3DS eShop: Pokedex 3D Pro, Paper Mario, and Rising Board 3D
Gotta download em all
With Christmas just over the horizon, the Nintendo 3DS eShop is really getting down to business. This week, the online store has some big name downloads that you should definitely watch out for.
As per usual, both the European and US eShop have nearly entirely different goods to offer, although both are rather jam-packed with interesting titles this week.
Check below, download, and be happy.
European eShop releasesThe Pokédex 3D Pro is out this week. It's an expanded take on the original Pokedex 3D application. Considering the original was free, this new price tag of £13.49 is a bit of a boot to the stomach.
Of course, it does add a fair bit more content, including information on all 600+ Pokemon, and an AR game that sees you chasing and catching Pokemon in your front room so you can transfer them to your Pokemon Black & White 2 game.
Is it worth the asking price? We'll bring you the answer soon.
What we do know is that Rising Board 3D, available to download for £2.69, is aces, and well worth grabbing. We recently called it "fast-paced surfing action that you'd be mad to pass up." We weren't lying, either.
Apart from more DLC for New Art Academy (two packs, called Fur & Feathers and Paint like Monet), you've also got Cake Ninja 2, which is all about slicing cakes. For £4.49, we think we'll pass.
But wait - there's more! Marvel Pinball 3D, which we described as "the Marmite of the video game world," is on sale for £4.49, down from the regular £6.29.
US eShop releasesWhat can you Americans expect this week then? Well, quite a bit actually. We're not jealous. Nosiree.
Paper Mario: Sticker Star is out this week, and oh goodness, it looks lovely. Strangely, Nintendo hasn't provided a price for the digital download, but it's out on Sunday, November 11, if you're interested. You should be.
You've also got the aforementioned Pokédex 3D Pro, which will set you back $14.99. And what's this? A demo for Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion? You lucky devils.
And then comes the barrage of weird and wacky releases. Johnny Hotshot is a sort of Western shoot-out arcade thingy, and costs $5.99. Elsewhere Dress To Play: Cute Witches! allows you to, well, dress like a witch. For $3.99.
DSiWare-wise, you've got Come On! Dragons, a sort of castle defense game for for $1.99, and Smart Girl's Playhouse Mini for $4.99. It's so pink. SO PINK.
That's your lot! See you again next week and all that.
