FarmVille 2 celebrates 10th anniversary with in-game events and special anniversary video
FarmVille 2 is celebrating 10 years of fun by hosting a bunch of in-game events throughout the month. To thank players for their love and support through the years, the game has also released a special two-part anniversary video.
During the 10th anniversary festivities, players can expect to join in on a special party planning in-game event. The two-part anniversary video will also introduce players to an adorable story about a puppy who inadvertently makes a mess after trying to help out. Players can also send greetings, take part in an anniversary lottery, decorate their farm and more.
“We’re excited to mark a decade of social connections, camaraderie, and friendly competition with our FarmVille 2 fans by kicking off 26 days of in-game festivities,” says Neha Agarwal, Associate Product Manager for FarmVille 2. “From virtual anniversary activities to real-world party giveaways, we’ll celebrate the fun farming, cuddly animals, and friendly farmhands who have helped make FarmVille a beloved franchise.”
Some fun facts about the game include 7.5 billion crops and trees harvested in the past six months, more than 150 in-game events in the past year, over 126 million gifts sent in the past half year, and the game being played in more than 200 countries and territories across the globe.
