[Update] Pokemon GO Plus now available
Now all we need is tracking and we'll be on the right path
Perhaps it was a more tactical strategy than we'd anticipated. Judging by people's impressions so far, the Plus is a breeze to operate. with one button, bluetooth paring, and a series of different coloured LEDs, it quite literally couldn't be easier.
You can grab the Plus from Nintendo's online store for £34.99/$39.99, or from a variety of different sellers.
Over a month after Niantic delayed the Pokemon GO Plus, we've finally had news about when we'll be able to get our hands on it and guess what? It's next week.
Post-Apple Event, Niantic has unzipped its lips and brought us a little more information about what's incoming with the upcoming Pokemon GO accessory. It's hard to ignore the similarities now after looking at what the Apple Watch app will include, but hey, I'm not complaining.
Pokemon GO Plus will connect to your phone via Bluetooth. Obviously you'll wear the accessory somewhere where you can either see or feel it and enjoy the world around you without constantly looking at your phone's screen.
Passing by Pokestops will cause the Plus to vibrate and light up, and the same when there's a Pokemon close to you. What's even easier is that both items and Pokemon can be collected through the click of a button, allowing you to get down to business and then be on your merry way.
Available September 16th, the Pokemon GO Plus will release in most countries with a few South American territories getting it later this year.
