Magic 2015 to feature cards designed by the creators of Super Meat Boy, Plants vs. Zombies, Minecraft, and others

The card-battling faithful are no doubt counting down the days to the July 18 release of Magic 2015: Duels of the Planeswalkers, and Wizards of the Coast has given them a whole new reason to get excited.
This new iteration of the seminal card-battler will add 14 cards designed by some of the biggest names in the industry into its core set.
The full list of who's signed up - and what you might know them from - follows.
- Markus 'Notch' Persson, creator of Minecraft.
- Mike Krahulik (Gabe) and Jerry Holkins (Tycho), creators of Penny Arcade.
- Richard Garriot - aka Lord British - creator of the Ultima series.
- George Fan, designer of Plants vs Zombies.
- Edmund McMillen, indie developer of Super Meat Boy.
- Isaiah Cartwright, lead game designer of Guild Wars 2.
- Brian Fargo, director of Wasteland, Bard's Tale, and executive producer of Fallout.
- Brad Muir, game designer at Double Fine Productions leading Massive Chalice.
- Stone Librande, lead designer at Riot Games, designer of Diablo 3, creative director of SimCity.
- James Ernest, owner and lead designer for Cheapass Games, designer of Kill Doctor Lucky.
- Justin Gary, designer of Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer and Solforge.
- Mike Neumann, Gearbox Software, creative director on Borderlands.
- Rob Pardo, chief creative officer at Blizzard, lead designer of World of Warcraft.
- David Sirlin. designer on Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix, Yomi.
So far, we've only seen one card from the lot - Genesis Hydra, by PvZ designer George Fan below - but it's enough to get us excited to see what the rest cook up.
