Kickstarted adventure Broken Age Act 1 is out now on Ouya, coming to iPad 'in a matter of weeks'

Double Fine has today announced that Act 1 of its Kickstarted point-and-click adventure Broken Age is out now on Ouya.

That's the second Double Fine adventure to grace the micro-console, and follows The Cave, which was released late last year.

If you were an original backer, check your emails now, where a free code for the Ouya version will be waiting. You'll need a Humble Bundle account, mind.

We have good news for iOS fans as Double Fine has also announced that it's "in the final stretch now" on the iPad version of Broken Age, and that the game should be "in your hands in just a matter of weeks".

Android users will have to wait a little longer, unfortunately, as the kinks are still being worked out on that one.

Full production on Act 2 commenced several months ago, but there's still no estimated release date. We'll keep you posted on that, and the iPad version's release date, just as soon as we know more.
