Batman: Arkham VR's main story will be about an hour long
Not bad, not bad
On the subject of PSVR, the ever-anticipated Batman: Arkham VR will apparently have a fair chunk of content available for us to play around with, totalling at roughly 150 minutes including the hour-long story section of the game.
Announced back in June, Batman: Arkham VR is an all-new murder mystery in the Batman universe and set in the style of the comic books. Though, it's a completely different experience to what die-hard Batman fans are used to as it's based more around the detective-side of things rather than anything utterly action-oriented.
An interview with PressStart earlier this week brought about some interesting information regarding Batman: Arkham VR's length. Dax Ginn, Rocksteady Studios Brand Marketing Producer stated, "The core narrative is about 60 minutes in duration, however additional content is unlocked that provides about another 90 minutes of gameplay on top of that. So there are plenty of reasons to play through the game multiple times in order to see everything that we have put into it."
The big question is – will the experience offered in this epic, dark, psychological adventure be worth every penny? Retailing for around $20, two and a half hours isn't bad in terms of gameplay but it's still steep for some. We'll have to wait and see.
Batman: Arkham VR launches on the 13th October and will be exclusive to PlayStation VR until March 31st 2017.
