Grave VR, a psychological horror, will shortly be coming to the HTC Vive
Light is both your friend and your enemy
Ahh yes, Halloween is slowly creeping up and with it, the delicious, new scary titles of the world. According to Broken Window Studios' recent announcement, Grave VR, a new psychological horror will be coming soon to the HTC Vive.
Some of you may recognise the game, or at least the premise. You'd be right as it's a loose prologue of the upcoming PC game Grave, a larger, open-world experience which has been in development since 2014. Some of you may have even played the demo version back when it was available, and it was a heart-hammering doozy.
For those who don't know what Grave is about in any way, it's a single-player experience in which light is your only tool for survival. What's so brilliant about it, is that it looks more into the visceral areas of horror – you're powerless against the creatures and have no weapons to help you out – a little like Amnesia, in that respect.
It's a game about using your wits to survive the night. Where some monsters might shy from a flare or torch, others might be drawn to it like a moth, so you'd best choose wisely.
Check out Broken Window Studios' website here to read more about it. Grave VR will be out on October 25th for $19.99, though if you purchase the game before Halloween, you'll get it at a 10% discount.
