Top iOS and Android sales this week - (December 3rd)
The Beggar's Ride, Mini Metro, Iron Marines, and more
Happy first sales entry of the month, one and all! After Black Friday/Cyber Monday's epic list, we're feeling a bit mellower with the likes of Rayman Jungle Run, Iron Marines, Braveland Pirate, and more.
It feels weird to finally be in December, doesn't it? I won't lie though, I'm quite glad to have the excuse to wear hats, baggy jumpers, and just be in a state of general comfort 24/7. Let's have a look at what you can kick back and play this week.
1
Iron Marines
Ironhide Studio's tower defence games are some of the best you can get on the market, and Iron Marines is one you'll want in your library. Recruit incredible heroes, experience richly detailed planets, and decide the best strategies for your troops to take on.
2
The Beggar's Ride
After a man finds a legendary mask, the old beggar must travel through striking lands with godlike powers at his disposal. There are secrets to uncover, both surrounding the mysterious mask and the beggar himself, but this platform puzzler has a lot more going for it than mere intrigue.
3
Rayman Jungle Run
If I remember rightly, this one's been on sale a number of times over the past months, but I'll never get tired of seeing it. Pick up and play this auto-running platformer as you leap up walls, bound over obstacles, enjoy a charming score, and unlock new powers as you go.
4
Rayman Fiesta Run
Like Jungle Run, Fiesta Run is another of Rayman's adventures and is equally as fun. Glide over chasms with cocktail umbrellas, collect Lums to earn rewards, dash through 75 levels, take on huge bosses, and basically just enjoy your time in it. It's pretty and runs like a dream, what's there not to like?
5
Mini Metro
If you've not played Mini Metro before, it's a really interesting strategy game where you need to manage a healthy underground. No, that's not an innuendo. Draw lines from station to station and think on your toes as more points open. It's all about how long you can keep things running before it all descends into chaos.
6
Braveland Pirates
Travel between islands, fight enemies on the open sea, make use of a few pirate-y tricks to get the upper hand in combat, and much more. You can even go bounty hunting, just for funsies. Get your game-face on and come up with your best strategy on your way to find the ultimate treasure.
7
Magnus' Kingdom of Chess
If your kids (or you) have ever wanted to learn Chess, leaning from Chess champion Magnus Carlsen seems like a good place to start, right? This world-class education game teaches you how pieces move, checkmating patterns, basic techniques, and more. Sure, it's aimed at children, but if you're a total chess novice and find it hard to learn it might be worth having a look.
