Zenless Zone Zero is finally hosting its second closed beta test soon
It’s been over a year since HoYoverse revealed their latest project, Zenless Zone Zero, an urban fantasy ARPG set in the fictional city of New Eridu. Not many people have had the chance to try it out yet as only one closed beta test has taken place. Post that, it’s been pretty much radio silence besides some trailer drops here and there.
Well, there’s good news for eager fans as the studio plans to hold the second CBT for Zenless Zone Zero soon. It has been titled the Equalizing Test and will feature a plethora of changes and improvements as we get closer to the launch-ready version. Players will be able to explore the world to a greater extent through new stories, more playable characters, and much more polished gameplay.
In fact, combat mechanics have been significantly redesigned and New Eridu City has gotten a major overhaul too. Players who were part of the first CBT should notice major differences in the second one. Just like its predecessor, the Equalizing Test will be available on Android, iOS, as well as PC.
Here’s everything we currently know about Zenless Zone Zero!The CBT will focus on Belobog Heavy Industries, one of the more important factions in-game. Players can expect to find new mechanics which will allow them to probe into the Proxy Network called the Inter-Knot. This opens doorways to several hidden commissions which players can take. In addition, it also allows friends to play arcade games with each other, find adorable pets, or roam around Sixth Street.
If you haven’t heard about the game before, Zenless Zone Zero is an upcoming APRG that chronicles humanity’s efforts to survive a supernatural disaster called the Hollows. New Eridu, because of its technological prowess, managed to build the necessary tools required to take on this calamity. It is now up to the Proxies to save everyone.
