Fall Guys Mobile assets and details seemingly leak online, is a proper smartphone launch coming soon?
  • There has been a series of leaks pointing to a potential upcoming mobile release for Fall Guys
  • This includes details of new branding, a potential staging update and art assets
  • But can Fall Guys re-establish itself on mobile and beat out chief competitor Stumble Guys?

The upcoming, potentially mobile release of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has seen fresh leaks surface online. As spotted by GamingonPhone, notorious leaker FGMuffins unveiled what they claimed to be key art for the upcoming mobile release alongside further details.

Essentially, over the past few days that account has been revealing more and more details about Fall Guys' upcoming mobile release, including the aforementioned art assets and other information. They indicate that part of the wider game's upcoming 11.1.1 update will be staging for the game's mobile release, perhaps indicating crossplay.

Of course, leaks can be wrong, but given that they themselves ballpark a potential announcement for August 16th, we'll know sooner rather than later whether or not Fall Guys will finally be making the leap to handheld.

Too little, too late?

Of course, that brings a new problem, which is whether or not Fall Guys can succeed on mobile. Stumble Guys, which originated as a clone of the game on mobile, has slowly grown into something far larger than Fall Guys. So might this be too little, too late, regardless of where you stand on their respective qualities?

Potentially, but it's also worth noting that original games that have had spiritual successors or clones on mobile have often done extremely well, as Poncle's Vampire Survivors did. So, don't count Fall Guys out of the race (or battle royale) just yet.

In any case, if you're looking for other top games to play, why not take a gander at our massive, constantly growing list of the best mobile games of 2024 (so far)?

And if you want some specific recommendations, you can always dig into one of our reviews. For example, side-scrolling platformer Spooky Pixel Hero is one game which absolutely gave us the heebie-jeebies when we covered it earlier this week!
