Zoeti is a deck-building roguelite with a twist, out now on iOS and Android
This isn't Magic the Gathering
- Zoeti is a deck-building roguelike with a twist
- Combine regular playing cards to play hands and activate skills
- Step into the shoes of the heroic Valentina and save the land of Zoeti!
Hot off the heels of their other recent launch with The Darkside Detective, mobile porting studio Akupara is bringing Dusklight Studios' turn-based roguelike deck builder Zoeti to iOS and Android. Step into the shoes of hero Valentina as she fights to save the people of Zoeti.
Zoeti is a deck-building roguelite, but don't walk away just yet! Yes, this seems to be a particularly popular genre at the moment, but Zoeti comes with a twist sure to surprise aficionados and bring in sceptics. Rather than collect custom cards you instead have a deck of regular playing cards that you then use in pairs, and combine to activate skills.
So, if you're not a fan of learning an entire deck of custom cards, this is much more familiar. And for fans of the deck-building genre, it'll test your skill with regular cards as well. Given that deck builders seem to be quite popular at the moment, we're excited to see a major spin on the formula.
We've mentioned it before, but it's always exciting to see games like Zoeti come to mobile. After finding an audience on PC, we believe that their move to mobile shows how they recognise the potential to expand that audience even further. But we can't exactly play the game for you, so if you want to see how Zoeti stands out, take a gander at it on the iOS App Store or Google Play!
