NetEase's Blood Strike surpasses 50 million downloads, celebrates with massive new content update
The hundred-player FPS is top of the charts
- Blood Strike, the top FPS from NetEase, has surpassed over 50m downloads
- To celebrate, there's free skins, cosmetics and more on offer
- Grab the exclusive Molten Score skin for the INP-9 weapon!
NetEase's hundred-player battle royale Blood Strike has crossed another major milestone as it hits 50 million downloads. This latest achievement also comes with the latest major content update as well as free rewards for loyal players.
The biggest addition is arguably the new Payday (no, not that one) Rumble mode. In this mode, Shutter Island (no, not that one) gets a stylish new makeover. You'll get unlimited respawns, but the goal is to grab as much Cash as you can until your team reaches the threshold, which then triggers a countdown. At the end of the timer, all Strikers will be ranked by their amount of owned Cash.
You can unlock some precious rewards like Gold and a new Ultra skin until August 31st.
But you don't want to know about that, you might want to know about all the free goodies you're getting to celebrate, right? Well, you're in luck, because there's Gold, a skin for Striker Ran, an execution, stickers, ornaments and weapon cosmetics, including the exclusive Molten Core skin for the INP-9.
It's been a very good few months for NetEase, what with this milestone in Blood Strike and the first public beta of their very well-received adaptation of a popular comics property with Marvel Rivals. After NetEase was often viewed, especially domestically, as being somewhat lacklustre, it seems they've come roaring back with some big successes.
