What is a Wubbox?

The Wubbox is a monster you can collect in My Singing Monsters, and it is available on all the Natural Islands (Plant Island, Cold Island, Air Island, Water Island, Earth Island, Gold Island, Ethereal Island, Fire Haven, Fire Oasis, Wublin Island, Mirror Plant Island, Mirror Cold Island, Mirror Air Island, Mirror Water Island, and Mirror Earth Island).

It is kind of a special monster since it can produce a lot of Coins when placed. The Wubbox also makes some interesting dubstep sounds, so if you want these neat beats on your island, you better get one.

How to get Wubbox in My Singing Monsters?

There are a couple of ways to get the Wubbox. All of them require some time since you need time to collect the Coins or Shards:

  • Purchase it in the Market for 75,000,000 Coins (or on sale if you're lucky for around 35 million)
  • Purchase it on Ethereal Islands for 150,000 Shards

Before anything else, it's important to know that you cannot breed a Wubbox. You can only purchase it.

How to activate the Wubbox?

Unlike other monsters, the Wubbox has some special activation requirements. First of all, the moment you place the monster, it will look like a box, and it won't produce any Coins. You need to activate it and to do that, you need to collect a lot of monsters beforehand.

In order to activate the Wubbox, you need to box all the common monsters on the island. This is not an option you can normally see, and it will only appear once you actually place the Wubbox. So, you need to purchase it first, and then place it, and then the boxing option appears.

Be careful which monsters you box!

You should know that once you box a monster, you cannot get it back. The box monsters won't provide any more happiness and will lose all the costumes and whatnot. If you really want to get the Wubbox, it's best to know this beforehand, so you don't spend too much on the monsters you will eventually box.

After you boxed all the monsters required to activate the Wubbox, just select it and then pick the Power Up option.

Or... you can use Diamonds

The alternative to boxing monsters is using Diamonds to activate it. You can go for the full amount, or you can box some monsters to reduce the cost. Depending on which island you are in, the cost of activating Wubbox can increase. At the moment, activating it with Diamonds on Wublin Island is the most expensive, so it's best you don't go for this method.

If you save up enough Diamonds, you can box up some of the monsters you don't want, and then just use the remaining Diamonds for activation.

How to increase Wubbox happiness

Increasing this monster's happiness is crucial since it is an already difficult monster to obtain, so why not make the most of it?

Place the following items around Wubbox to boost its happiness:

  • Ambered Thing
  • Digger
  • Toob
  • Tub Fountain

This is everything there is to know about the Wubbox in My Singing Monsters. Are there any other monsters you would like to learn about? We have a complete guide to the Ethereal Workshop right here, and an article where everyone can share their My Singing Monsters friend codes.

I've enjoyed playing games ever since I was a kid (which was a long long time ago at this point). It all started off with an Atari 65XE, then came an Amiga 500+, a Sega Genesis, a 386, and the rest was history. I consider myself lucky to have been able to experience the gaming evolution over the years - this is my passion, and what I will continue to do for as long as I can.
