Monster Hunter Now gears up for Teostra's arrival with new Water Element Quest line
  • Enjoy boosted encounter rates and drops
  • Limited-time quests to take on
  • Score a Wyvern Gem Shard and Mizutsune Plate

Niantic and Capcom have launched an exciting new update for Monster Hunter Now, inviting everyone to dive into the Water Element Quest line from now until August 11th. In particular, you can look forward to prepping your water element weapons in anticipation of Teostra's arrival, so you can make sure you've got your game on when the elder dragon lands with a vengeance on August 16th.

In the latest update to Monster Hunter Now, you can expect to encounter Mizutsune and Coral Pukei-Pukei in forest and swamp habitats. Jyuratodus will appear more frequently in swamp habitats as well. Meanwhile, you can enjoy 50% more materials as rewards when you take down Mizutsune, Coral Pukei-Pukei, Jyuratodus, or Great Jagras throughout the event.

Additionally, there will be fresh limited-time quests that will put your skills to the test. Clearing these tasks and slaying larger-than-life foes will of course reward you handsomely - you might even nab a Wyvern Gem Shard and Mizutsune Plate while you're at it.
