Warhammer 40k Tacticus celebrates second anniversary with launch of fan-favourite Blood Angels
No, they're not vampires
- Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is celebrating its second anniversary!
- You can get in on the action with the new Blood Angels faction
- Fight the rage with new champions Mataneo and Mephisto
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, the top turn-based strategy game from Snowprint Studios, is launching a new fan-favourite Space Marine chapter as part of their second anniversary. Yes, it's everyone's favourite bitey-boys, the definitely-not-vampires, the Blood Angels, and two of their champions, Mataneo and Mephisto.
Cursed with madness, the Blood Angels remain loyal to the Imperium nonetheless. With their Primarch, Sanguinius, falling in battle against Horus many thousands of years ago, every Blood Angel marine fights a losing mental battle, with each one succumbing to the Black Rage cast far into the past where they believe themselves to be Sanguinius once more fighting his final battle.
Cheerful stuff, eh? Well, fortunately, you won't have to struggle with the Black Rage as you take two new Champions into battle. Intercessor Sergeant Mataneo flies into battle with his jump pack, while Konrad Von Carste- er, we mean Mephisto, wields both a power sword and the fury of the Blood Angels themselves.
Whatever your position on Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus, it's undeniable that Snowprint has done a great job translating the many factions in the tabletop to mobile. Up to, and including, the time-honored tradition of a million different variations of the Space Marines.
You can leap into battle as the Blood Angels in Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus as of the time of writing!
