Reverse: 1999's new update takes you to the far north with Farewell, Rayashki
Version 1.8 is out now
- Reverse: 1999's newest update is here, and this time we're headed to the far north
- The arctic town of Rayashki is the main setting forversion 1.8
- Follow researcher Windsong and meet a new cast of enigmatic characters in the titular village
After their last update took players to turn-of-the-century Vienna, it seems that Reverse: 1999, the hit action RPG from Bluepoch Games, is going a bit further north for the next update. That's because Farewell, Rayashki isn't just going where it's cold, but where it's only a stone's throw from the North Pole!
You'll follow Windsong, the last ley hunter & researcher, as they head to the titular town of Rayashki. You'll also meet mermaid-blooded teacher Vila, and Avgust, who we're sure is a totally normal young man, nothing magical at all. Vila and Avgust are both summonable, while Windsong will be added in phase 2 of version 1.8.
The first phase of Farewell, Rayashki promises to bring new story events, garments, sign-in rewards and more, all themed around this strangely Soviet location. You can also check out new events like Anecodes of Eternity and Zeno.
If there's one thing I've got to give Reverse: 1999, it's that it pushes the boat out in terms of settings and locales a lot more than many other games in the gacha world. This is good given the time travel aspect means they've got a functionally limitless area to explore.
This new update promises to offer a host of additional content and new characters to meet, so check in on Reverse: 1999 now to discover what Rayashki has in store for you.
