League of Legends: Wild Rift soon to introduce Mordekaiser the big, bad, glowy green iron revenant
  • Mordekaiser is the newest champion to join League of Legends: Wild Rift
  • This new champion is a fan-favourite and comes alongside a reward event
  • Mordekaiser is an ageless, deathless warlord from times unknown

League of Legends: Wild Rift's 5.2b patch is here! Sadly there's not much to see, just a few balance patches and the addition of a little-known champion called Mordekaiser. Wait, I'm being told that Mordekaiser, the iron revenant, is in fact a major fan favourite? Well, in which case, I guess he's the one headlining this patch!

Yes, Mordekaiser will join the roster for Wild Rift on August 23rd. But who is Mordekaiser? Well, the iron revenant, twice slain and thrice born, is a warlord from a bygone era. Few, if any, know exactly who he once was or the extent of his conquests as he wields the souls of others in necromantic service. But one thing's for sure, everyone fears the day he may once more come to claim dominion over both the living and the dead.

Alongside Lissandra, Mordekaiser represents another major addition to the Wild Rift lineup. With his grim, faceless appearance and that familiar sickly green glow, you'll certainly be intimidating when you come bearing down on your opponents as Mordekaiser.

The introduction of Mordekaiser will certainly be appealing for longtime players, but for those of you new to League of Legends who only know it via Wild Rift, he may not be quite as seismic an addition. Still, with Mordekaiser's release hot around the corner, you'll soon get a chance to see whether this intimidating armoured lad suits you.
