ShiShi: Timeless Prelude is an ultra-cosy roguelike dungeon crawler coming to mobile

It's about that time of the day again, when we look back at the games making a jump to mobile. And today I'm pleased to report that former console-exclusive Shishi: Timeless Prelude will soon be available for mobile in the last quarter of 2024.
In Shishi, you play as Elia, a mage who is training to become an Oracle. However, it's not as easy as filling in a written exam to become an oracle. You'll need to take Elia down into the depths of the sanctuary in roguelike ruins to defeat enemies and complete her training.
When ShiShi calls itself ultra-cosy, you know it means it. Your cutesy anime girls in this case aren't even anthropomorphic, but literal bowling balls. You couldn't get any cosier unless there was a fishing minigame and farming elements. Still, for those of you seeking a throwback RPG that'll keep you playing, maybe ShiShi is the game for you.
It's worth noting that virtually everything in ShiShi is very much intentional. This is no amateur-hour project, and designer Frédéric McNamara (himself a sufferer of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy) has pursued a great deal of work in enhancing the accessibility of games. ShiShi promises to be accessible and fun for everyone from the most hardcore of players, to family members and young children.
