- Pokémon Go's latest Community Day event is here
- Check out what's coming around the corner with event bonuses and more
- All the dates collated in one place, and an appearance by a fan-favourite
Pokémon Go, the top AR creature-catching game from Niantic, has unveiled upcoming Community Day event dates. And that's not all, because a fan-favourite Pokémon will also be making an appearance during August's Community Day Classic!
That's right, Beldum, the iron-ball Pokémon will be showing up on the latest Community Day, which takes place on Saturday 18th August, with much greater encounter rates than usual. The Community Day Classic will also, naturally, feature Special Research for paying players, while Field Research and event bonuses will be available to all.
But, of course, that's not all because we now know when the latest Community Day events will take place. The upcoming Community Day dates are as follows:
- Saturday, September 14, 2024
- Saturday, October 5, 2024
- Sunday, November 10, 2024
Given the recent success of the massive Pokémon Go fest in Madrid (and beyond) it's no surprise that Niantic are eager to capitalise on the success by getting more and more players out and about. Pokémon Go had struggled somewhat in previous years after changes made during Covid were rolled back, but a return to the outdoors didn't seem to materialise.
Events like Community Days and the in-game bonuses they provide alongside other upcoming events (which you can find detailed on their site) help to get players onto the streets and encourage the get-together spirit that made Pokémon Go such a success in the first place.
