Pokemon Go's new Adventure Week is almost here and promises big rewards

If you've lapsed out of Pokemon Go, or simply not found the time to play, now might be the time to jump back in. And that's because Adventure Week, a yearly event featuring big in-game rewards is back for 2024! From Friday, August the 2nd you'll be able to grab more XP, find exciting encounters and a whole lot more.
How much more? Well, let's start with double-XP for PokéStops, 5x for spinning PokéStops for the first time, and 2x for hatching Pokemon. You also have an increased chance of encountering the shinies Cranidos, Shieldon, Tirtouga, Archen, Tyrunt, and Amaura.
There are also great deals on the Pokemon Go web store, a new paid Timed-Research deal and even more! Adventure Week 2024 kicks off in August, and you can check all the details to find out what exclusive Pokemon you'll encounter, what field-research tasks there'll be and a whole lot more.
With Pokemon Go Fest having just wrapped up worldwide (as you can see above) it's no surprise that Niantic is following that series of successful events up with another major event. And while some may dislike that there is more of a focus on stuff like paid research, even free-to-play players are likely to find something worthwhile with the extra XP and new encounters in Adventure Week 2024!
