MMORPG Valhalla is about to receive a major ad campaign with the English Premier League
Floki is bringing Valhalla, its play-to-earn MMORPG, closer to sports fans as the open-world title launches a major ad campaign in partnership with the English Premier League. To brighten up the 2024-25 Season of the EPL, Valhalla will be front and centre across ad platforms in over 190 countries - and here's everything you can expect when it comes to its actual numbers.
Gearing up for the English Premier League
With larger-than-life LED perimeter boards flashing all things Valhalla during live games, it's hard to miss the MMORPG's presence in the most popular global sporting league. The English Premier League gathers more viewers every year compared to the UEFA Champions League and the Bundesliga, with a cumulative audience of 3.23 billion for the 2022-23 season alone.
That said, broadcasting the campaign to 712 million households does help immensely when it comes to reaching 2.01 billion viewers - and that's an understatement. Meanwhile, Nielsen's official data records 1.22 billion viewers for highlight shows, which includes other non-live content as well.
Social media reach and beyond
When it comes to the power of the internet, social media channels for the Premier League clubs have an unparalleled number of followers. Around 240 million fans follow the official Facebook account, while Instagram boasts 157 million fans. TikTok, meanwhile, has 56 million, while X follows it up with 123 million fans. YouTube, on the other hand, adds 28 million to the mix.
Strategic placement of the ads guarantees maximum visibility during broadcasts, with content that's dynamically tailored to audiences. Multichannel coverage offers visibility across platforms as well, whether on mobile or online.
Maximised hours on-screen
With 100 minutes of ad time, the campaign will dominate the season across the globe, with at least 40% of the advertising inventory to be presented during matches. The target is a whopping 200 million people, which includes 1.2 billion impressions as well as a duration of approximately 440 hours on-screen.
Europe should see an estimated 81 million impressions, Asia and Oceania approximately 47 million impressions, and Africa an estimated 48 million impressions. You can learn all about the creature-collecting MMORPG on BBC (highlights), Sky Sports, TNT, USA Network, FuboTV, Amazon Prime, Optus Sports, Disney+ Hotstar, Telemundo, beIN Sports, Sky Deutschland, Star Sports, DAZN, NBC Sports (including Peacock), Supersport, Sky Italia, Astro, Now TV and more.
