Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus adds in a brand new Aeldari DPS hero named Jain Zar in the latest update
The recently released tactical strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus has revealed their latest hero addition to the game with the Legendary character Jain Zar. Jain is a brand-new Aeldari character who focuses on rapid strikes with her war spear, using her battle screams to strike fear into the hearts of her foes.
Tacticus has seen a good amount of success since launching a few months back, and perfectly encapsulates the Warhammer universe into a digestible tactical grid-based turn-by-turn style of gameplay. With an extensive team customisation suite and some intense PvP modes to take part in to prove you’re the best, it’s easy to see why this has become a favourite for fans of the large 40k universe.
As for Jain Zar, she uses a combination of abilities and her super-strong spear to demolish her enemies. With The Silent Death, Jain can deliver a stealthy strike to enemies adjacent to her location, and in combination with her Blade of Destruction, can also completely destroy even the most armoured of opponents.
It’s easy to see why Jain Zar is mostly recommended to take on your front lines, as she can lead an entire platoon into battle and utilise her abilities to do a ton of damage to the enemy team. She’s not much of a tank - mostly focused on doing high DPS - so you’ll likely want to back her up with some beefy units who can take the heat from her while she ruins the battlefield.
